Membership

Any Nepali (Kavreli) living temporarily or permanently in the UK is eligible to become a member of the organisation as per the provisions of this legislation. They may join becoming a general member by accepting its legislation and providing they are aged 18 years and above to responsibly fulfil the purposes of this organisation.

The membership period of a general member shall be 1 year and the membership shall be renewed every year.

Anyone who qualifies as a life member of KSUK as per the legislation of the organisation can pay the above fee on the recommendation of two members of the Working Committee. The term of lifetime membership is 10 years as per the current legislation.

Lifelong Family Membership is eligible for spouses and their children below 18 years of age. Anyone deemed eligible to become a member of the organisation may apply with remittance advised above and by decision of the Working Committee. The term of lifetime and lifetime family membership is 10 years as per the current legislation.

Termination of membership:

  1. If the general members do not renew every year.
  2. If found guilty of acting contrary to the objectives and interests of the organisation the Working Committee may come to a decision upon the circumstances as to suspend or expel the member.
  3. If it is proved that he is involved in any criminal activities against humanitarian and social sentiments.
  4. The Working Committee shall revoke life membership if it is found that the life member has been involved in any activity or propaganda that sees them act against the interests of the society and insult the spirit and respect of the society.
